The Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation introduced the Anti-Epidemic Support Fund in April to provide a one-off grant to NGOs and charitable organisations that serve Hong Kong youths so that they are encouraged to carry out or maintain their services. As the pandemic has continuously affected the operations of many such organisations, the Foundation launched the "Anti-Epidemic Support Fund 2.0" in September, over 40 applications were received. Altogether sponsorship of HKD2.1 million were granted for 21 approved youth organisations. Each approved local youth organisation will receive HKD100,000 with priority given to smaller NGOs and charitable organisations. Funding has been distributed in October 2020.
