The Foundation has long been committed to fostering innovative thinking and technological literacy among students. Now in its fifth consecutive year, the ‘GenRobo Programme’ has become a highly acclaimed initiative within the academic community, benefiting over 4,500 primary and secondary students to date. The 2026 edition of the programme features a comprehensive curriculum, including 9 hours of foundational training in AI DeepSeek. Adopting a hands-on approach, the programme guides students in designing and creating AI solutions tailored for their campuses or communities, thereby enhancing their problem-solving skills and logical reasoning.
A highlight of this year’s programme is the newly introduced ‘Hangzhou 4-Day 3-Night AI Study Tour.’ This opportunity allows outstanding teams to ‘step out of the classroom’ and travel to Hangzhou, a global hub for technological innovation, for face-to-face exchanges with industry leaders. The itinerary includes a visit to the Alibaba Campus for a two-and-a-half-day intensive AI course, a tech experience session featuring the ‘Six Little Dragons of Hangzhou’ (leading AI unicorns), and an in-depth exploration of Geely Auto’s AI-driven smart manufacturing plant.
