Loving Homeland Miniature Art Show

To foster patriotism and a deep affection for Hong Kong among young people, The Foundation is proud to present the "Loving Homeland Miniature Art Show". This art show skillfully blends traditional artisanship with cutting-edge technology, showcasing 42 meticulously crafted pieces across five thematic zones. Visitors will have the opportunity to appreciate the nation's significant developments while exploring both the historic and contemporary aspects of Hong Kong.

1/ National Day Special Feature

Presenting 9 distinctive works, you are invited to "look closer" at the breathtaking moment of Shenzhou-18's launch, witness the heartwarming scene of giant panda Ying Ying feeding her twin cubs, and relive the triumphant moments of Hong Kong’s Olympic medalists. As this year also marks the 5th anniversary of the Greater Bay Area Homeland Youth Community Foundation, we welcome you to explore iconic landmarks in the Greater Bay Area. Enjoy the sight of a meteor shower over the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, the festive lights at the Ruins of St. Paul's, and the mesmerizing light shows at the Canton Tower and the China Resources Tower.

2/ Hong Kong Landmarks

Hong Kong, an international metropolis, is represented through scenes like the firework-lit Victoria Harbour, the bustling Lan Kwai Fong, the sparkling Lee Tung Avenue, and the century-old Stone Slabs Street.

3/ Old Hong Kong

Step back in time and explore some historical sites. At Yue Man Square, experience the vibrant life of Kwun Tong during the 80s and 90s. Visit the Western Pier to delve into the bustling activity of Hong Kong’s old Western Pier. Additionally, discover Hong Kong's seven-storey resettlement estates and get a glimpse into the city's past urban life.

4/ Local Culture

From dim sum trolleys and big bowl feasts to Chaozhou Darling and traditional pastries, as well as various heartwarming local shops like herbal tea shops and ice cafés, this zone provides an authentic taste of Hong Kong’s local culture.

5/ Traditional Festival

A fusion of historical customs and modern life is vividly portrayed through events such as the exhilarating Dragon Boat Races, the Cheung Chau Bun Festival, which promotes peace and blessings, and the Tai Hang Fire Dragon Dance, a celebration commemorating the overcoming of plagues.
